In this release, workbench tabs help you keep your most frequently used features at your fingertips while navigating your workspace. With workbench tabs, you'll be able to customize your own workspace layout and pin important tools to the top so you'll never lose your place. In addition, you can now add notes to a documents simply by highlighting text and clicking the Note icon in the toolbar. You and your team can leverage notes to manage your knowledge base more effectively by sharing feedback and ideas right within your documents. In this release we've also delivered several enhancements and bug fixes throughout the platform for a smoother overall user experience, designed to reduce friction in your workflows so you can focus on your most important tasks. In our previous release, we introduced sidebar tabs to pin chats, office calls and your personal planner to the right side panel for easy access while navigating the platform. Now, we've added workbench tabs -- found a the top of your workspace -- allowing you to quickly switch between your most important tools without losing your place. By default, you'll notice your current view in the first tabe at the top of your workspace. Simply add a new tab by clicking the + button. Right-click any tab and select 'Pin' to pin the tab to the left side. We hope this feature helps you and your teams stay more organized and productive in your Huly workspace! #6788
You can now add notes to any document content in Huly! Simply highlight the text you'd like to comment on, then click the 'Note' button on the toolbar. Add your note, select a color, and click `Set`. Notes are saved with the document and can be viewed by anyone with access. #6358
Download images from the text editor: You can now download an embedded image from anywhere text editors are used in Huly - documents, issue descriptions, comments and more. Simply hover over the image and click the Download button. #6929
Notifications will remain unread if window is out of focus: Resolves an issue where notifications were being marked as 'read' when the browser window was out of focus. Now, notifications will only be marked as 'read' when the user is actively viewing them. #6971
Screensharing and OAuth on desktop app: Fixes an issue causing screen share to not work on the desktop app for MacOS 15 Sequioa with Apple M3 chip, as well as an issue with desktop OAuth flows. #6975
GitHub integration fixes: This PR covers many fixes for issues related to GitHub sync, particularly with markdown parsing and formatting differences between GitHub and Huly versions of an issue. #6839
Knock sound fixed on desktop app: Resolves an error occuring in the Huly desktop app when a user is knocking on another's office. The knock sound can now be heard as expected if toggled on in notifications settings. #6944
In case you missed our announcement in our Slack community, Huly is now available for download on macOS, Windows and Linux. Our desktop app is identical to the web application, including all of the same features and functionality. Download here!
